I genuinely trust my clients' taste

Note

I genuinely trust my clients’ taste. My objective is to understand what they have been aiming for and help them complete the work. Not everyone needs another person involved to finish an audio project but if you haven’t experienced such collaboration before, I strongly encourage you to try. It’s not even about hiring me. You can do this with a friend who has a pair of earbuds or with anyone you trust.

But here is an important aspect to consider: you, as a team have to reach a common ground at the end of the day. Listening bias is an everyday challenge for everyone. Biases can come from the mind, but they can also originate from the audio setup: literally missing things that are there, or hearing things that are not there — and not due to your skills, but because of your tools and how you set them up. We can call biases from the mind aesthetics for sure, which I embrace, but biases from an audio setup are definitely technical flaws you might be unaware of.
